Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m) – Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, we’ll host a briefing sessionabout your upcoming overland adventure into Tibet.

Day 2 : Full-Day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Today, enjoy a full-day guided cultural tour of Kathmandu Valley, exploring several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Begin with a visit to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) for panoramic city views, then head to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu site. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, followed by a tour of Patan Durbar Square, known for its ancient Newari architecture and royal palaces.

Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung (2,700m)

Today’s drive takes you over the high Gyatchu La Pass (5,220m), offering sweeping views of the Himalayan range. You’ll arrive in Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city, home to the Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama.

Day 6 : Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse, then to Lhasa (3,650m)

In the morning, explore Tashilhunpo Monastery before heading to the historical town of Gyantse. Visit the Kumbum Stupa and Pelkor Monastery, then continue the scenic drive to Lhasa, passing the breathtaking Yamdrok-Tso Lake, Karo La, and Kamba La passes. Arrive in Lhasa by evening.
