Day 12 : Drive Kerung – Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive from Kerung (2,700 m / 8,858 ft) back to Kathmandu (1,365 m / 4,478 ft). Today, you will complete the China exit formalities at Kerung border, including customs and immigration checks. After crossing into Nepal, complete Nepal immigration and customs procedures at Rasuwagadhi, including passport stamping and baggage checks.

Once all formalities are completed, continue the scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills, rivers, and terraced villages, descending from the Tibetan Plateau into Nepal.
